No, as the fat deposits being removed are positioned at a deeper layer than cellulite. However, it may make the existing cellulite look slightly smoother.
Will undergoing liposuction leave a visible scar?
The incision scar will slowly fade within 3 to 6 months after undergoing liposuction. The plastic surgeon will position the scar where it can be covered by clothing, making it very hard to notice as the incision is only 2 to 3 millimeters long.
