Duration of Operation:
2 to 3 hours
Anesthetics:
A numbing anesthetic will be used

The patient will stay at the hospital for 2 to 3 hours after the surgery and can return home afterward

What is the difference between undergoing a double/hooded eyelid procedure and big-eye surgery?
Big-eye surgery tackles the organization of the eye muscles for the patient to be able to open their eyes wider, whereas the double/hooded eyelid procedure opens and closes up the skin to create a second eyelid.
Am I able to simultaneously undergo Big-eye surgery and a hooded eyelid procedure?
Yes, the patient is able to simultaneously undergo both procedures.
What are some complications that could occur as a result of Big-eye surgery?
Following the procedure, the patient may have trouble closing their eyes for a while but will get better as time goes on.
If I were to undergo Big-eye surgery using the suturing method, is it possible that the stitches will become undone?
