In this procedure, the plastic surgeon will evaluate the patient’s current body shape and the nature of their muscles to design the curl of the muscles, determining where the excess fat needs to be removed. From there, a liposuction will be performed using VASER and the incision scar will be hidden within either the grooves of the muscles, right above the belly button, or the bikini/underwear line to limit the visibility.
We use high-quality compression garments
in addition to high-efficiency foam-covered silicone implants for you to wear after surgery. These will help your body tighten up, keep its shape, revealing an abdomen that is chiseled and beautiful with minimal swelling.
We use Skin Glue (liquid stitches) instead of stitches
that is waterproof and bacteria-proof and is able to be absorbed into the skin within 1 week before dissolving by itself. By doing this, you will be able to bathe as per normal and you do not have to come in to get any stitches removed.

Will I be able to see significant results immediately after undergoing the procedure?
The patient will be able to see significant results 1 month after undergoing the procedure as they will experience swelling prior to that.
Will undergoing Abdominal Etching leave a visible scar?
The incision scar will slowly fade within 3 to 6 months after undergoing Abdominal Etching. The plastic surgeon will position the scar where it will be hidden among muscle ridges, making it very hard to notice as the incision is only 2 to 3 milimeters lon
Can the fat that has been removed during the procedure be used for cosmetic injections on my face, breasts, etc?
Yes, the fat extracted can be used for cosmetic injections. However, a plan should be laid out prior to the liposuction in regards to how much fat should be removed.
If I gain weight, will it eliminate the six-pack/sexy-line created?
Yes, as the curls being created are not actual muscles, but is a soft layer of fat.
If I do not want to diet or exercise, can I undergo Abdominal Etching to achieve the same effects?
Yes, but the results may not last as long without maintaining a healthy diet and exercsie routine.
If I have previously undergone Abdominal Etching but have since gained back the fat, am I able to undergo the procedure a second time?
Yes. However, after the first Abdominal Etching, the body will have accumulated scar tissue that will make undergoing a second Abdominal Etching harder as the fat deposits may not be removed as easily. Additionally, the patient will also lose more blood d
If I am classified as overweight or obese, according to my BMI, am I still able to undergo Abdominal Etching?
We don’t recommend doing so. The patient should lose enough weight to be in their normal range first, or they can undergo liposuction instead.
Will my abdominal muscles look natural as a result of this procedure?
From a glance or pictures, the muscles created will look natural but will feel soft when touched as it is fat and will not have the same feel as muscle.
