Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty is a surgery to remove excess skin and fat from the abdomen, alleviating sagging, stretch marks, and loose skin after the skin loses its elasticity. Exercise may not help tighten or restore the skin’s elasticity once it is gone.

01 Mini Abdominoplasty

Mini Abdominoplasty is a surgical approach that is performed exclusively on the lower abdomen, and no navel is surgically repositioned. The incision reaches only the fatty layer, suited for patients with minor excess skin and fat and mild sagging. The incision is very small, approximately 25 centimeters long.

02 Abdominoplasty

An abdominoplasty is a surgical approach where an incision is made from the abdomen to the pubis area. The incision reaches the muscle tissues; they are tightened, and the navel is surgically repositioned if necessary since the skin is excessively repositioned. This approach is suited for patients with intense sagging.

03 Extended Abdominoplasty

Extended abdominoplasty is a surgical approach where an incision is made from the abdomen to the flanks. The navel is repositioned, and muscle tissue may be tightened. This approach is suited for patients with intense sagging that reaches to the flanks.

Swelling

Post-Surgical Care

The patient should sleep with their head slightly elevated, bending your knees at a 30-degree angle.
Do not remove the abdominal compression garment for the first 5 days after undergoing surgery.
Take care of the incision, making sure that it always stays dry. The incision scar must not have any contact with water until the stitches have been removed.
The patient can shower again 5 days after undergoing the surgery, carefully avoiding the incision scar area.
The compression garment must be worn at all times, except when bathing, for the first month after undergoing liposuction.
Avoid heavy coughing for the first 6 months after undergoing surgery as it may rupture the incision scar.
Avoiding consuming foods that may make you constipated; the patient should consume fruits, vegetables, and a lot of water for the first 6 months after undergoing surgery to avoid being constipated.
Avoid heavy exercise routines and movements that may rupture the healing incision for 3 to 6 months, post-surgery. The patient can do light exercise, starting 1 month after undergoing liposuction.
Avoid lifting heavy weights for the first 6 months after undergoing surgery.
Avoid having sexual intercourse and activities that boost blood pressure for 2 weeks after undergoing liposuction.
