“Show off your smooth, sculpted abdomen.”

Tummy Tuck

Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty is a surgery to remove excess skin and fat from the abdomen, alleviating sagging, stretch marks, and loose skin after the skin loses its elasticity. Exercise may not help tighten or restore the skin’s elasticity once it is gone.

*Abdominoplasty is not suitable for patients who are looking forward to losing overall body weight and is not a replacement for exercise. The surgery should be performed after long and excessive exercise has become ineffective.

If you are currently experiencing the following problems:

Sagging skin on your abdomen as a result of pregnancy

Sagging skin on your abdomen as a result of rapid weight loss

Sagging skin on your abdomen as a result of a large amount of fat being removed (liposuction)

An Abdominoplasty is the procedure for you, right here, at Wansiri Hospital

Abdominoplasty

At Wansiri Hospital, there are 4 surgical approaches for abdominoplasty. Surgeons will assess and determine the patient’s sagging to find the best approach for the surgery. Scars are concealed in the underwear line. This ensures that scarring will not be visible.

01 Mini Abdominoplasty

Mini Abdominoplasty is a surgical approach that is performed exclusively on the lower abdomen, and no navel is surgically repositioned. The incision reaches only the fatty layer, suited for patients with minor excess skin and fat and mild sagging. The incision is very small, approximately 25 centimeters long.

02 Abdominoplasty

An abdominoplasty is a surgical approach where an incision is made from the abdomen to the pubis area. The incision reaches the muscle tissues; they are tightened, and the navel is surgically repositioned if necessary since the skin is excessively repositioned. This approach is suited for patients with intense sagging.

03 Extended Abdominoplasty

Extended abdominoplasty is a surgical approach where an incision is made from the abdomen to the flanks. The navel is repositioned, and muscle tissue may be tightened. This approach is suited for patients with intense sagging that reaches to the flanks.

04 Belt Lipectomy

Belt lipectomy is a surgical approach where an incision is made around the waist. The navel is surgically repositioned, and muscle tissues may be tightened. This approach is suited for patients with extreme sagging that reaches to the flanks.

FAQS

The incision scar will dissolve within 3 to 6 months, post-surgery. The incision scar will be hidden along the patient’s underwear line, making it hard to notice.

It will help eliminate stretch marks to a certain extent as excess skin will be removed, but will ultimately depend on where the stretch marks are situated on their body. If they are situated on the patient’s lower abdomen, they can be removed.

Yes as it will rip open the muscles that have been sewn together as a result of the procedure.

Rarely, as the skin does not often sag again after the patient has undergone surgery even if the patient has lost weight.

In most cases, no. This is because the plastic surgeon will have designed the incision scar with the bikini line in mind.

The two procedures target different problem areas and cannot be compared. An Abdominoplasty solves sagging skin whereas a Liposuction fixes the layer and amount of fat in the patient’s body. The two procedures can be done simultaneously.
