The Surgical Procedure: Silicone Forehead Implant
The plastic surgeon will start by making one to two incisions near the patient’s hairline, two to three centimeters in length. The silicone forehead implants will be inserted in those incisions and sutures will be sewn without the patient having to underg

How large will the incision scar be after my body has adapted to the implant?
Because it’s positioned near the patient’s hairline, the incision scar will be barely visible
Will I be able to see or feel the edges of the silicone implant after the procedure?
The silicone implant is custom made to each individual patient’s skull and facial structure, therefore, they will not be able to see or feel the implant after having recovered from the operation
Will the skin on my forehead become translucent after having the implant inserted?
No, this particular symptom does not appear unless the skin on the forehead is especially tight
After undergoing a Forehead Augmentation, am I able to return to the salon for hair procedures as normal?
The patient is able to return to getting their hair shampooed, blow dried, or curled one week post-operation. However, they should wait one month before undergoing any treatment that requires the use of chemicals (dyeing, perming, etc)
Am I able to get a silicone Forehead Augmentation if I’ve previously had fillers injected in my forehead area?
This is dependent on the specific type of filler that the patient has previously been injected with. The filler will have to be dissolved one week prior to undergoing a silicone Forehead Augmentation. Alternatively, it can be scraped off during the operat

The procedure does slightly help fade wrinkles and lines on the patient’s forehead, but may not eliminate them completely
